What is Google Call Recording?

Google call recording is a function within the Google UI that allows Attorneys and Law Firms to actually record calls directly from ads. This is a great free feature that was introduced to Google Ads this past year.

Why is this important?

Whether you are a single Attorney, a medium-sized office, or a massive Law Firm, the benefits of having calls recorded is extremely valuable.

 

Call recording allows for your marketing team to narrow in and focus on the quality, motivation, and urgency of the potential client.

Make sure that you are taking advantage of this valuable data on your Google Ads account.

First acknowledging the terms and agreement, then follow the steps below:

 

  1. Login to your Google Ads account. 
  2. Click All Campaigns 
  3. At the account, level scroll down to Setting 
  4. Open the “Call reporting” section
  5. Under “Save call recordings for 30 days” select On
  6. Accept the Call & Messaging Terms and Conditions. Accept. (First time only)

Arguments must be based on evidence, therefore, Google call recording provides attorneys and law firms with that evidence. 

I suggest that you use these reports in order to pool your evidence, review the quality and effectiveness of your acquisitions team and make sure your marketing efforts are being stewarded properly. 

Now go monitor and listen! You can observe these calls is by going to the Reports tab from the top menu of your Google Ads account. 

 

Select Predefined Reports > Extensions > Call Details.
